Don't get me started!

I noticed this photo on flickr and it got me started. I'm going to post pictures that I take and find that show how crappy vinyl is in the real world. Sure, maybe a wood fence would have burned but maybe not. Later photos will show off the unique weaknesses of vinyl fence.

Don't get me wrong, I love plastic. My father's job was in the plastics industry so you could say plastic fed me and put me through college. Just because we CAN make fencing out of plastic doesn't mean we SHOULD.

OK, there are places where vinyl fence is reasonable. The first requirements are that it must be used in a place where it is physically impossible for any human or animal over 100lbs to come into contact with it. I guess this photo shows that it shouldn't be used where it can get too hot.
